Prada Phone by LG 3.0: First Press Shots

No big surprises here: the Prada Phone by LG 3.0, set to be officially revealed later today at an event in London, has already been pictured in renders, photographed, and even spotted briefly on video. These official press shots, though, give us our best look yet at the 1GHz, dual-core handset, highlighted by its 4.3-inch NOVA display with WVGA resolution and 800cd/m2 brightness.

Besides the TI OMAP4430 CPU, also inside the 8.5-millimeter-thick frame are a 1080p-capable eight-megapixel camera along with a full complement of radios, including 21Mbps HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and an FM tuner. As we had first heard, the back does indeed look to be covered in a "Prada-inspired" texture.

This third collaboration between LG and Prada should ship early next year with Gingerbread on board, although an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be forthcoming. Look for pricing details and possible launch partners at the event this afternoon.
