Vertu’s Premium Constellation Symbian Phone

Nokia-owned Vertu has combined its renowned, handcrafted luxury with high-tech functionality with its recently announced Constellation which will run on the Nokia-developed operating system, Symbian. This is Vertu's first touchscreen smartphone.


The ultra-luxurious new features on Vertu Constellation include sapphire crystal screen and ruby surround on the camera. President Perry Oosting explained the unique blend of tailor-made luxury and functionality maintained in Vertu models.

Constellation will come equipped with many exclusively-built applications such as Vertu Concierge which functions as a personal assistant for each user. The service has been expanded to provide access to worldwide member clubs and wine as well as personal security advice. This 24-hour service can be accessed by a call or the touch of a button. Along with advice one can also secure priority bookings for various events and recommendations about various lifestyle choices.
 These destination guides are created and constantly updated by local experts of the respective cities. Information provided includes fine restaurants, new destinations to be checked out, and hidden attractions. All this as soon as you've arrived in any of these covered cities, so you can instantly plan your itinerary.

Other features of Vertu Constellation are access to MS Office documents, 32GB memory, HSDPA and WiFi. It is also equipped with 3.5" nHD AMOLED display and dual LED flash-equipped 8-megapixel camera. Vertu mobile handsets are reportedly hand-built in the facility at Church Crookham in Hampshire. Recently their handsets have become increasingly popular in Russia and Asia.

iPhone 4S apparent Indian pricing too high

Apple have recently released their latest iPhone in a few countries across the world. The last iPhone was similarly priced to the 4S. As of now there is no official word on the price or availability in India. However, according to a report by Plugged.in, they have come across a site that is selling the latest iPhone at a price that would make one’s heart skip more than a couple of beats.

The online shopping site that is selling the iPhone 4S in India retails the 16GB version for Rs. 41,850. This is really high for the base model. The 32GB iPhone 4 sells at a maximum retail price of Rs. 40,900 making the lowest variant of the newest iPhone nearly Rs. 1,000 more. The online retailer is selling the iPhone 4S 32GB for Rs. 50,250 while the 64GB version sells for Rs. 58,650. The site is also offering free shipping and an estimated delivery time of 'within 4 weeks'.

There is no official word from Apple yet if the iPhone 4S will sell in India for the above mentioned prices.
