Samsung Nexus S only £199.95 at Carphone Warehouse in the UK

Any of our readers in the UK are lucky, as Carphone Warehouse is offering up the Samsung Nexus S for only £199.95. The phone is completely unlocked and SIM free, meaning there is no contract to be signed. Once the device is received, just pop in your SIM card and the phone should be good to go. Considering the phone is now updated to Ice Cream Sandwich, it is quite the steal.
The site is also offering a few other phones a discounted prices, and we doubt that the will last long. Most will probably jump on the Nexus S, as it has Android 4.0 and doesn’t cost as much as the flagship Galaxy Nexus. Are any of our UK-based readers planning on picking up the device? Found another great deal? Let us know in the comments!

Motorola Droid 4 Turns Up On Verizon Site

We still don’t have any more details on a launch date for the Droid 4, but the guys from Pocket now spotted the Droid 4 on the DroidDoes website and managed to get some screenshots of the device along with some specifications, which you can see below.

It would appear that Verizon may launch the Droid 4 some time this month, although this has yet to be confirmed by Verizon, as soon as we get some more information we will let you know.

Spire Brings Siri Legally To Jailbroken iPhone 4

Just a couple of days ago we heard of a legal Siri port for iOS 5-powered iPhone 4 devices that is in the works, wearing the name i4Siri and now here's another bit. Even though different, called Spire, it does the same thing: brings Siri to the iPhone 4.

Developers Grant Paul and Ryan Petrich unleashed a new tool "for installing Siri on previously unsupported, but jailbroken, devices". Spire will download 100MB worth of data from Apple's servers consisting of Siri itself (hence being legal) so make sure you run it while on WiFi. You can find Spire in the Cydia store but there's a catch.

In order to successfully use Siri on your iPhone 4 you will still need to use information from an iPhone 4S to authenticate with Apple (therefore you'll have to input your own proxy server address and also connect a 4S to it). While not an easy solution it is still a step forward for those waiting to talk to Siri on their pre-iPhone 4S.
