iPad 2 Gold History Limited Edition sells for £5,000,000

Those who’ve been thinking that iPad 2 is an indulgence should pore over the high-profile makeover given to this device by Stuart Hughes. This luxury gadget entitled iPad 2 Gold History Edition comes embedded with diamonds, gems, gold, dino bones and more. It is set to dig a hole as deep as £5,000,000 (approx Rs. 392,936,449) in a pocket, for obvious reasons. And the highly limited edition with just two units has one unit already sold to an unknown customer.
Flaunting the rear side build of 2000 grams of gold, it embeds an Apple logo carrying 53 sparkling diamonds. Well, the extravaganza doesn’t end here, the Gold History Edition has its front main front frame crafted out of Ammolite (the oldest rock world over, sourced from Canada). The ammolite carries sections of a 65 million year old T-REX dinosaur’s thigh bone. So, it clearly explains the name ‘History.’ The gigantic price tag also adds in a single cut 8.5ct flawless diamond surrounded by 12 outer flawless diamonds.

So, 2Kgs gold, 57 grams dinosaur bone and 750 grams of ammolite stone, definitely doesn’t make a highly portable device. Well, with the price tag it reads, we are assuming the buyer doesn’t intend it for an on-the-go daily usage either.  With just one iPad 2 Gold History Limited Edition available for purchase, potential buyers (if many) should rush.
