Dell Latitude ST tablet coming soon to our shores

Back in October, we reported that Dell had announced the Latitude ST tablet through a video. One of the unique features of this tablet is that it runs on a Windows 7 operating system akin to that of a laptop or desktop. Dell is known for its computers and by incorporating Window 7 OS on a slate gives business users more options to play around with instead of toting around a larger notebook or netbook.

Here are some of the highlighted features of the Dell Latitude ST:

  • Windows 7 OS
  • Mobile Intel SM35 Chipset
  • Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 600
  • 10.1-inch WXGA LED capacitive Multi-touch Screen and Digital Pen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800
  • Up to 128GB SSD and up to 2GB RAM
  • 720p HD front facing video webcam
  • 5.0 Megapixel rear camera
  • Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n 1x1, Bluetooth 4.0
  • Dell Wireless 5550 Single-mode HSPA+ Mini Card with A-GPS
  • USB 2.0, SD Memory card reader, HDMI
  • Stereo headphone, Microphone combo jack
  • Weighs 816g

Besides the specifications mentioned above, a docking station can also be purchased with the Dell Latitude ST making the tablet convenient to use. To know more about this slate from Dell, hit the link here. With this tablet, one would think that the line between PCs and tablets is slowly fading.
