HTC Radar 4G to hit shelves on November 2 via T-Mobile

T-Mobile has declared the availability of the HTC Radar 4G from next week via its official Facebook page. The smartphone will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and run on the recently introduced Windows Phone 7.5 operating system.
             The forthcoming HTC handset is embedded with a 5MP rear and a VGA front facing camera too. Featuring 512MB of RAM and of 8GB internal memory, it offers a talk and standby time of up to 7.7 hours and 575 hours on WCDMA, respectively. This device operates on a 1520mAh integrated battery and allows users to capture videos in 720p HD through the camera.
              Weighing 137g, the Radar 4G possesses GPS with navigational capabilities to provide real-time location on maps and driving directions to users. It is capable of lending support to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options and is equipped with a 3.8-inch 800 x 480p resolution LCD touchscreen display.
              The handset is preloaded with Netflix by which users can stream various TV shows and movies as well as T-Mobile TV that allows them to view live news, sports and entertainment channels. Users are enabled to synch contacts, calendar and email in Microsoft Outlook via this smartphone which measures 120mm x 61.4mm x 10.9mm. Users can also gain access to innumerable apps in the vast Windows Marketplace as well as edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents while on the go.
          The HTC Radar 4G is priced at $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4,946) after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two year contract and it will be available from November 2 at T-Mobile stores.
