The iPhone Dev Team recently release a new untethered iPhone jailbreak for Apple’s A4 based devices, like the original iPad and the iPhone 4, and they have been working to bring the jailbreak to Apple’s A5 based devices.
It looks like we could be getting closer to the release of the untethered jailbreak for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, as pod2g has revealed it could be available as early as next week.
“I made a step today for the A5. With some luck we could expect a release in a week.”
It looks like the jailbreak will run on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 running the latest version of Apple’s mobile software, iOS 5.0.1.
