Motorola’s next handset aimed at social networking butterflies has made its appearance quietly through a page on the company’s official website. Clearly stating ‘Coming Soon,’ the all new MotoKey Social phone shows off a full QWERTY keypad that embeds a dedicated Facebook button. Needless to say, this isn’t an original concept and we’ve seen such Facebook-centric handsets in the past in the form of HTC Chacha and Vodafone 555 Blue. The MotoKey Social appears to be somewhere between a low to mid-range budget (more towards the lower end) handset, owing to its spec sheet. The specs include a 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3MP camera with fixed focus, but no flash, video recording @30fps, 3.5mm jack, and support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Facebook friends can access their account, share pictures or links and stay connected with this single button. The integrated 910mAh battery promises to deliver up to 480 minutes of usage time and up to 672 hours of stand by time. There is no word on the pricing or release date of the Motorola MotoKey, yet.
