The majority of new smartphones on the market today use Gorilla Glass, and when the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced we were expecting it to come with Gorilla Glass, but it would appear that it will use something else instead.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Nexus will us ‘Fortified Glass’, although Samsung hasn’t released any details about the glass and whether it will be as strong and scratch resistant as the Gorilla Glass.
We wonder if Samsung were trying to keep the cost of the Galaxy Nexus down by using the ‘Fortified Glass’, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
