Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash get snapped

Samsung’s new Windows Phone 7.5 phones have been snapped live and they do look pretty impressive. The first one, the Focus S is more like the Samsung Galaxy SII in terms of hardware. As reported by GSM Arena, it has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen and an 8 megapixel camera. The only hardware difference from the SGSII is that this one features a physical button for the camera. The Focus S will run on a 1.4GHz processor and will have an inbuilt memory of 16GB or 32GB and 1GB of RAM but there will be no microSD card slot.

Here’s the spec sheet for the Samsung Focus S:

  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution
  • 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • GPS with A-GPS support
  • Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, HS
  • 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, 1.3 MP secondary camera
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • No expandable memory
  • 3.5 mm headphone jack
The second one, the Samsung Focus Flash will be a tad smaller than the Focus S. Design wise as well, it looks a little thicker. This one will run on a 1.4GHz processor and on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango as well

Here are the specifications for the Samsung Focus Flash:
  • 3.7 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen
  • 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • GPS with A-GPS support
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, EDR
  • 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, no secondary camera
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • No expandable memory
  • 3.5 mm headphone jack
Pricing and availability for India hasn’t been mentioned as of now, but stay tuned to this space for more details. What do you guys think about the Focus S and Flash? Hardware wise, it's right up there with the others, but would you make the switch to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango?
