Philips to launch X726-Andorid and X9320-3G Smartphones

 One of the most trusted Consumer Electronics Company Philips is set to launch its first Android Based Phone by this Diwali in India. According to latest reports from company sources, an Android 2.3 based Smartphone will be available in the Indian markets for sale in this Diwali season

Philips phones may not be that most popularly demanded one and it's very rare you see promotional videos and ads for the handsets from them, but still in the shops they dwell with all its glory and promise of reliable Dual SIM handset. The news about Philips is that they are about to introduce two new 3G Android smart phones with some highly popular features integrated in them. The company is expecting that these new models are going to boost their current sales and market position in the Indian market.


        The company is also set launch Tablets and Windows Phones in India but it is waiting for Nokia to do so. Firstly it will observe the move of Nokia in markets and then it will come-up with Windows Phone, a similar Windows 7 Phone was recently launched in China by Philips.

GFive G99 Dual SIM Touch and Type phone features

This is a dual SIM phone with dual SIM standby touch and type phone. The dimensions are 114.3 x 54.5 x 19 mm. The GFive G99 TFT display screen is 2.6 inches with resolution of 240 x 320. This is a slider type touch screen phone just slide out to unveil the hidden keypad.
GFive G99 houses a 3 megapixel camera which can shoot images with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. The camera comes with digital zoom and can record videos.  There is no built in flash. This handset also features 4GB internal memory with micro SD / T-Flash card supported.
Media player supports MP3, MIDI, WAV, MP4 and 3GP files. The GFive G99 is a 2G phone but you can use GPRS for surfing. Bluetooth 2.0 is also supported.  This handset can last for about 264 hours in standby mode and can provide up to 6 hours of talktime
